Millions of people in the poor nation of Haiti require urgent assistance after the devastating earthquake that hit the country. Over 100,000 people are feared dead and millions more have seen their homes and livelihoods wiped out. Even before the disaster, Haiti was the poorest country in the Western hemisphere; they are ill equipped to handle the devastation of the earthquake that has also impacted the government, UN and aid agencies.

In response to this devastating natural disaster, St.George Bank is working with ActionAid to assist their fundraising efforts.

How can I help?

ActionAid is an international anti-poverty agency working in over 40 countries. Funds raised through the ActionAid Haiti Earthquake Appeal will assist ActionAid staff in Haiti to distribute emergency supplies to earthquake victims including food, water, shelter and medicine.
